Use this North African-inspired rub to make a perfect tagine or to add a Moroccan twist to couscous and rice dishes. Rub it into meat, fish and vegetables before roasting for real flavour. Ras el hanout is the North African name for the Indian garam masala. It is a diverse and handy spice that can be served with a variety of meals and used as a rub.  Ras el hanout means 'top of the shop' and North African traders would have had their own special recipes for this blend, using their very 'top' ingredients. So here's our 'top of the shop' recipe...we've even added rose petals to what judges thought was a Gold-award winning blend!

Paprika, Ginger, Coriander, Cumin, Cassia, Turmeric, Sea Salt, Demerara Sugar, Chilli, Black Pepper, Nutmeg, All Spice, Cardamom, Rose Petals (3%)
