Smoked gammon joint formed from cuts of cured pork leg with added water

Cooking Guidelines

Cooking Instructions - General. Cooking appliances vary. These instructions are given as a guide. Please ensure that the product is piping hot throughout before serving.; Hob - From Chilled. Remove outer packaging. Place the gammon joint in a large pan of cold water. Bring to the boil and simmer gently for 1 hour 20 minutes.; Oven cook - From Chilled. Remove from the pan and transfer immediately to a roasting tray. Place in the centre of an oven pre-heated to 190°C/375°F/Gas Mark 6 for 30 minutes. Remove from the oven and rest for 10 minutes.
